SMARTSTART - AUTO PROVISIONING SERVICE

Smartstart auto provisioning service is a plug-in-play IP phone automatic configuration and installation tool, which enables customers and channel partners to efficiently provision hundreds of IP phones in minutes. The service significantly saves time, energy and money by eliminating the tedious and often error prone manual configuration done by the rest of the industry today. Without the need of moving from cubicle to cubicle to configure IP phones, the service offers the easy and remote maintenance and support capability. It greatly reduces operational costs particularly for organizations that have multiple offices and remote locations. The centralized and automated provisioning process has become a key factor for our channel partners and customers. As soon as an IP phone plugged in, it can be detected automatically and pointed to the provisioning server. The IP phone will then be configured automatically from the server, and all information sent to the server is secured using high level encryption. Multiple checks during the provisioning process itself ensure that the phone is configured correctly to a valid user.

SMARTSTART - AUTOMATIC ASSESSMENT TOOL

The Smartstart automatic assessment tool is a software based program that can help customers assess their IP network's capabilities for supporting IP-based voice services. By running the automatic assessment tool, customers or channel partners will be able to verify and determine whether their on-premise network is ready for voice communication services. The tool runs on a standard PC and does not require any special hardware.

The network assessment is conducted before the services are turned up. Customers will receive an email with a link to the PanTerra Smartstart automatic assessment tool. By simply clicking the link, the assessment will be run automatically and a report will be generated within 24 hours with detailed information to summarize the IP-based voice service readiness of each LAN path and WAN connectivity. The test will be performed by simulating live IP-based voice traffic with jitter, packet loss, router delay, as well as maximum concurrent call volume that are expected to and from the customer site.

SMARTSTART- DIRECT INTERNET ACCESS SERVICE (DIA)

Smartstart Direct Internet Access Service provides dedicated IP access to the Worksmart service. In the case of customers who do not have good broadband network connectivity to carry IP-based voice traffic, PanTerra Networks will provide dedicated Internet access to host Worksmart services as an alternative solution for the customer to get started.
