Worksmart is delivered as an on-demand service. That means, assuming your network is ready to handle IP voice traffic, there are no upfront costs for on-premise hardware or software (other than IP phones). Our customers only pay for those services they use on a monthly basis. Worksmart's smartsuite plans come with unlimited voice, web collaboration and audio conferencing, reducing the costs and complexities of your monthly communications bill.
- Does Worksmart have an unlimited calling plan?
Yes. Smartsuite Communicator comes with unlimited voice and audio conferencing. Smartsuite Collaborator comes with unlimited web meeting and audio conferencing. Smartsuite Call Center comes with unlimited voice. International and 800 number charges apply to all plans.
- Can I keep my local numbers if I switch my phone service to PanTerra Networks?
Yes. Local Number Portability is supported by Worksmart.

- What is Smartstart?
Smartstart is a suite of tools and services that makes the installation and configuration of VoIP telephones a snap. The Smartstart automated network assessment tool is a software based program that can help customers assess their current IP network's capabilities for supporting VoIP traffic. Smartstart Direct Internet Access provides dedicated IP access to the Worksmart service. Smartstart's auto-provisioning service that removes the complexity of VoIP telephone installation and configuration. Smartstart can efficiently provision hundreds of IP phones in minutes, saving time, energy and money while virtually eliminating mis-configurations which can lead to customer down time. Today, the Smartstart auto-provisioning service supports Polycom, Cisco, D-Link and Snom IP phones. Smartstart is included in the Worksmart core services.
- How does Smartstart's auto provisioning work?
Smartstart's auto provisioning works in two ways:
- IVR Provisioning – plug the phone into the broadband connection, dial the provided number, follow the IVR instructions and the phone will be provisioned within minutes.
- Web Provisioning – add the MAC address, follow the instructions, selecting the phone model and entering the extension number and name, and the phone will be provisioned within minutes.
- What happens if I want to add, move or change voice lines?
It is very simple. Worksmart admin dashboard provides an intuitive user interface to add, move and change voice lines. The customer's administrator can login the dashboard, go to the phone provisioning section and simply follow the instructions. The changes will be made instantaneously when you want!
- Who provides the IP phones?
IP Phones can be purchased in different ways
- From a Worksmart certified resellers who sells IP phones
- From the PanTerra Networks Web Store in the admin dashboard (once you have a PanTerra account)
- From other IP phone stores
- Can I use Worksmart if I have offices in other states or overseas?
Yes, this is the beauty of PanTerra Networks’ Software-as-a-Service hosted model. Worksmart is a suite of hosted services, which can be accessed at any corner of the world as long as the customer has broadband connectivity.
