Approving Your Phone Numbers for SMS Campaigns

Step 1: Gather Brand Information
Collect essential details about your business, including:

  • Company legal name, DBA names, and organization type (public, private, nonprofit, etc.)
  • Country of registration, Tax ID or EIN (for U.S. businesses)
  • Business address, website URL, and business vertical (industry)
  • If publicly traded, have stock symbol and exchange information available.

Step 2: Provide Contact Information
List a contact person responsible for the SMS campaign with their name, phone number, and email.

Step 3: Select Use Cases
Identify up to five SMS use cases that fit your campaign, such as:

  • Two-factor authentication, delivery notifications, security alerts, or customer care.

Step 4: Define Opt-In, Opt-Out, and Help Processes
Establish clear SMS management options:

  • Opt-In: Allow customers to join by texting “Yes” or similar keywords.
  • Opt-Out: Provide instructions to unsubscribe (e.g., texting “Stop”).
  • Help: Offer a support option like “Help” for customer assistance.

Step 5: Ensure Compliance with Embedded Links, Phone Numbers, and Age-Gated Content

  • Include only clear, accurate links and working phone numbers.
  • For age-restricted content, confirm appropriate audience targeting.
  • Avoid third-party promotions to maintain brand focus.

Step 6: Review Your Website Privacy Policy
Add a privacy policy and an SMS disclaimer if collecting phone numbers online.

Step 7: Describe Your Campaign
Provide a short (minimum 40 characters) description explaining SMS’s role in your business. Include 2–5 example messages you plan to send.

Step 8: List All SMS-Enabled Phone Numbers
Gather all phone numbers involved in sending or receiving SMS messages.

Step 9: Submit Your Application
Complete the A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration form, ensuring all information is accurate. Once finished, submit your form to LNPadmin@PanTerraNetworks.com.

After submission, the review process typically takes a few days. Once approved, you can begin your SMS campaign, effectively reaching your customers through text messaging.
