Managing Call Recordings and Storage

In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the process of viewing, managing, and deleting call recordings, as well as checking your storage availability in the PanTerra Networks Admin Portal. These features help administrators optimize call storage management and ensure smooth operations, preventing any interruptions due to storage limitations.

Step 1: Accessing the Admin Portal and Report Manager

Begin by logging into your PanTerra Networks Admin Portal. Once you're logged in, navigate to the Report Manager section. This will open a new browser tab where you can access various reporting and management features.

Step 2: Navigating to Call Recording Options

In the Report Manager, select Call Recording. You’ll see two options:

  • ACD Call Recording (for automatic call distribution, i.e., call queues)
  • Non-ACD Call Recording (for direct calls)

Even if you don't use ACD, the process for managing call recordings is similar in both sections. You can play, download, or delete recordings from here. Deleting recordings helps free up storage space.

Step 3: Checking Storage Availability

To monitor your storage, go to Storage Manager under Global User Add-On Settings. This section displays your total purchased, used, and available storage for both call recordings and connect sessions. Keeping an eye on this will ensure your call recording functionality remains uninterrupted.

Step 4: Purchasing Additional Storage

If you need more storage, simply select the Call Recording option, go to Actions, and click Purchase. From here, you can enter the desired storage amount (e.g., 4 GB) and save the changes. This feature ensures your call recordings don’t stop due to a lack of space.

Step 5: Enabling Auto-Purchase for Storage

To avoid reaching your storage limit, you can enable the Auto-Purchase option. If this is set to "Yes," the system will automatically purchase 1 GB of additional storage when your usage reaches 90% of the current capacity. If set to "No," recordings will stop once you hit 100% storage capacity.
